Therefore, the present study was conducted to determine the effect of group therapy based on the acceptance and commitment on life expectancy, marital intimacy and marital conflicts. Methods: The research design was pre-test, post-test and the statistical population of this study was women referring to counseling centers of Kermanshah City in 2017; 30 of them were selected by available sampling method and randomly assigned to the experiment group (15 ones) and control group (15 ones). Snyder Life Expectancy Questionnaire, Marital Intimacy Questionnaire and Marital Conflicts Questionnaire were used to collect the data. Intervention of group therapy based on the acceptance and commitment for participants in the experiment group was performed 12 sessions per week 90 minutes, but participants in the control group did not intervene. Then, the results of the pre-test and post-test of the experiment and control groups were compared by descriptive statistics (mean and standard deviation) and inferential statistics for analysis of covariance using SPSS-23 software. Results: The results of analysis show Group Therapy Based On Acceptance and Commitment effect that in marital intimacy and marital conflicts, but for life expectancy, there was no significant difference after intervention for the experiment group compared to the control group (P < 0.01).
